Guided by this inspiring thought, our students actively participated in a sapling plantation drive to mark World Environment Day. The event was aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and combating climate change. With great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, students planted several saplings within the school campus and nearby areas. We undertook this computer skill project to enhance our practical knowledge and gain hands-on experience with digital tools and technologies. Throughout the project, we worked with various software and programming tools, which helped us to build confidence in our computer skills. BLINDFOLD SPORTS DAY" - ABHINADAAKSHA TRINETRA KREEDA DIWAS, was witnessed by our parents on 23.02.2023, where their child perform blindfold sports activities. We had a surprise drill, sports Event, Fun Games and Food Stalls. Our Chief Mentor, MDji, himself flag off the event and encouraged our students.
A wonderful carnivores plant show exhibition was held in AKLAVYA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL where exotic species of plants like Venus Fly Trap, Pitcher plant, Utricularia, were placed on display for students' learning on 20th of October 2022. This exhibit was visited by over 400 students from across Achariya institutions of Pondicherry. Orchid Metha and NatGeo fame wild life photographer Navaneetha Krishnan, patiently explained why and how these plant ingest insects. The Botany teachers accompanying the students also explained the process by which these plants capture and ingest insects as food. The Principal of AKLAVYA expressed her sincere thanks to Orchid Metha for sharing such a resource with the school.
Dandiya Night brings in festive mood, a spirit of celebration sets in the air as the people all over India dressed in colorful attire, glamorous accessories and super sense of style take on dance floor. The folk songs, the vibrant traditional clothes and the sticks accelerate the emotion of euphoria. A three- day International Indiaโs Movement to Unite Nations State level Conference of Puducherry commenced on 28th July 2023, Friday. LEARN the art of visual story-telling A film making certificate course curated especially for students. Film workshops & master classes designed to introduce students to the nuances of filmmaking and give them an insight into the art of filmmaking. MAKE films for a student filmmaking competition IKFF encourages future film makers through its international competition. IKFF Partners with Busan, Giffoni, Seattle,Lucas.
Dr J Arawindhan said that this kind of Film Festival especially for children, expose them to world cultures, issues and stories to build empathy and acceptance thus creating future ready citizens. He also said that it is indeed a privilege to extend this facility to neighbourhood school students reinforcing the concept of Vasudeva Kudumbakam.

Our Team of 20 Students from participated in the Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle at Devanari Village, Mahabalipuram ECR, Chennai on 19th February 2023. * And the world's first Hybrid Rocket was successfully launched at the very first attempt and it was witnessed by our AKLAVYANS.
